The New York Courts history blog has an item up about CAA’s involvement in the Lemmon and Jennings civil rights cases (unfortunately with a few obvious inaccuracies in chronology about his later career, but we are working on sending them some corrections.)
Notable here is quoting the recently-unearthed court records from the Lemmon case, in which it appears Chet’s involvement may not have been in actually arguing the case; at the least, not during the appeals. That said, still gratifying that these records have been recovered after such a long time lost in the archives.
